Peachy Wedding

Hello, this post is just some pictures of flowers we did recently for a wedding in Leeds.

The bride looked gorgeous.

The Bride wanted a soft country look and went for a cream and peach theme. She choose three varieties of David Austin Roses and two varieties of Avalanche Roses, White Hydrangea, Peach and Cream Spray Roses and some soft greenery, mixed with some contorted Hazel twigs and tied with wide peach cotton ribbon.

Wedding flowers arrive with me a few days before so that they are at the right stage of opening on the big day. They arrive in tight buds and have to be open on the day, not the day after or the day before, but on exactly the right day.

This is them in my work room, they smelt gorgeous, proper gorgeous. I keep them fresh, remove any blemished outer petals and make them feel loved ready for their big event.

The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bride's bouquet,
with a much smaller one for the littlest bridesmaid.

At the reception venue the bride chose round birdcages with 3 fat candles inside.

Each birdcage had a deep ring of flowers around the base and
they were ringed with tea-lites and scatter crystals.

The chairs had white covers and ivory and lace sashes, which looked great.
Double sashes always make the sash bows fuller so they look lovely.

The bride and groom didn't have a formal top table but sat with their parents in the centre of the room.
The Mr & Mrs letters are the bride's own and really suited this look.

Favours were small jam jars with pretty fabric tops and filled with sweets.

This was a lovely wedding. I just loved doing these flowers, they were so pretty
so here's just one last picture of the bride's bouquet

Have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend.
